Big Cast Rounding Out Action Thiller Gehenna Project

Ron Perlman, Cuba Gooding Jr., Ray Winstone, Taryn Manning, Henry Rollins, and Valerie Cruz are about to star together in a new action thriller feature set to be produced by former Universal Pictures head Sid Sheinberg, "Untitled Gehenna Project."

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Gooding and Manning will join the likes of Jason London, Franky G, Zack Ward, Stephanie Jacobson, and Brandon Fobbs to play members of an elite group of soldiers who got sent on a covert mission to retrieve a missing scientist, portrayed by Perlman, from an underground lab.

Halloween Producer Brewing New Horror Flick

A producing name behind the recently-released "Halloween" is on the move to develop his next horror thriller feature. Report brought by Variety informs that Malek Akkad has optioned rights to make "Hurt" via his Trancas Intl. Films.

Story centers on a group of estranged best friends who are reunited after another commits suicide. The gathering unexpectedly ends up becoming a bloodbath because meeting was set up as retribution.

The famous soccer athlete is reported by U.K.'s the Daily Star to catch the eye of star Nicole Kidman, who thinks he would be ideal to play to play a hunky builder. The actress has even recommended him to the project's director, Baz Luhrmann.

Milla Jovovich Posted First Pic of Newborn Daughter, Explained Her Name

Has given birth to her first child ever early last month, it was not until Sunday December 2nd that Milla Jovovich made public the first official photo of her newborn baby girl. In a post on her official Website, she also explained on why she and her film director fiance Paul W. S. Anderson named her Ever Gabo Anderson.

"The name Ever is a Scottish boy's name, Paul has Scottish blood in him (not to mention two tartans in his family!) so we wanted to give her a name that reflected her "celtic" roots, while her middle name Gabo - pronounced "Gabeau" - is a mixture of my parents names! The first two letters are after my mom's first name, Galina and the last two letters are after my dad's first name Bogie!"

'Girl Power' was omnipresent in the first concert of Spice Girls' reunion scheme. The band kicked off the world tour in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday, December 2, with 20,000 people in the audience seat.

The opening song was the upbeat and highly-energetic 'Spice Up Your Life' that was followed by a greeting from 'Sporty Spice' Melanie C. "How ya' doing?" she shouted to the audience who roared in return. Among the crowd were Victoria 'Posh Spice' Adams' husband David Beckham and Canadian singer Avril Lavigne.

Six Dark Knight Promotional Pictures Surfacing

A batch of promotional photos for "The Dark Knight" has appeared on the net, courtesy of a Spanish-language site named Uruloki.org.

Five of the pictures feature the images of the new Joker, played by Heath Ledger, while the other one presents that of the titular character himself, portrayed by Christian Bale, with white background. As explained by Uruloki, all images will be used on the future packages of merchandises from the film.

Whitney Houston made it through her comeback performance in Malaysia on Saturday, December 1. The diva who was deemed the highlight of the country's Live & Loud festival appeared after midnight singing her past hits and cheered by the crowds.

Shortly after midnight she appeared on-stage in white suit and sang the energetic 'If I Told You That' before going on with her popular hits like 'Saving All My Love' and 'I Will Always Love You'. Completing an hour of her set, reports said that she introduced her daughter and sang 'My Love is Your Love' with her.

The beauty, best known for her MTV show "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila," on the other hand feels annoyed that someone is calling her straight. She has, in response to Page Six's article that claims she is a "closet straight," written a blog on her Website, saying the accusations are absurd and made up.

A source close to "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" show told the New York Post's Page Six gossip column "Tila has and has had a boyfriend for over a year, and she's not really bi. She's made out with some girls in her past, as all girls have, but she is not bi at all" The insider claimed that MTV worked hard to pretend she's single and available because she refused to break up with her boyfriend "who's like five years older than her. This is a massive scam. That's why they are not continuing with the show, because she won't dump him."

Garth Brooks' Charity Tickets Sold Out Fast!

Garth Brooks' good favor was returned by fans who snapped his tickets in light speed, his official site revealed. The country singer is holding a charity concert for wildfires victims and when the tickets were sold on Saturday, December 1, it was sold out in an hour.

Revenues from the 85,677 sold tickets which cost $45 apiece will aid Californian wildfires relief campaign that includes funding fire departments in the state and future fire prevention programs. The concert will take place at Los Angeles' Staples Center on January 26, 2008.

Heavy speculations on Christian Bale in line for leading role in "Terminator Salvation" turn out to indeed ring true. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the Batman actor is currently in negotiations to play John Connor, the leader of the human resistance against Skynet.

Should Bale lands the deal, he will portray Connor in his thirties, who is organizing the surviving humans to fight against Skynet's army of robots. The character previously was played by Edward Furlong in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and Nick Stahl in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines."

New Music Video: John Mayer's 'Say'

The music video for John Mayer's first commercial single has been released. The blues singer puts up a single titled 'Say' that is not included in any of his three studio albums.

'Say' is a score that was written for Rob Reiner's adventure flick, 'The Bucket List', starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Mayer described the song as an "assignment" which made him "don't know how much harder it gets than to see a beautiful, bittersweet movie and then have to write a song that matches the tone."
