Axl Rose Sued Over John Lennon Portrait

Axl Rose is just one among the many Hollywood celebrities dealing with legal wrangle. The rocker has been sued by a Los Angeles art broker, claiming the star failed to pay $2.36 million for a portrait of John Lennon as done by Pop Art master Andy Warhol.

In the lawsuit, filed Sept. 11 in Los Angeles Superior Court, broker Acquire d'Arte stated that it negotiated with a New York art gallery and was able to lower the price of the artwork from $2.65 million to $2.36 million for Rose. However, after agreeing to buy the portrait, Rose paid only $1.21 million.

Sandra Bullock Filed A Lawsuit Over Alleged Stalker

Aging but still agile actress Sandra Bullock filed a lawsuit against California's mental health agency to ensure she is informed on the movements of an alleged stalker.

The legal action, filed Sept. 13 in Davidson County Circuit Court, on behalf of her production company, Fortis Films, calls on the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities to comply with a California court order requiring she be notified when Thomas James Weldon, the stalker, is released from the facility.

Comedian Robin Williams Checked Out of Rehab

Funnyman Robin Williams has checked out of rehab, leaving Newberg, Oregon's Hazelden Springbrook clinic, to which he was admitted in July for alcoholism, on September 14. And now the actor is moving in with a sober friend in Los Angeles, so report said.

Williams, an Oscar-winning actor, checked himself into rehab with the intention to battle his alcoholism after more than 20 years of sobriety. It is said further that his wife, Marsha Garces, has also become one of the reasons why he seek help for his addiction.

Authorities Issued A Death Certificate for Anna Nicole Smith's Son

After series of autopsies, authorities in the Bahamas finally issued a death certificate Wednesday September 20th for Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel Smith. Though so, the cause of death is listed as "pending chemical analysis," Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez said.

On the death certificate, Anna Nicole's attorney, Michael Scott, explains that the document will finally allow the busty blonde to bury her son, who died Sept. 10. "It is not unusual in instances where the cause of death cannot be determined to issue a death certificate," Gomez said while adding "This is not a matter of special treatment being given in this particular case."

After winning Oscars earlier this year, it's now time for Three 6 Mafia to have such an exciting "Adventures in Hollywood."

It was reported Wednesday Sept 20th by MTV that the rap group will star in a new reality comedy series called "Adventures in Hollywood". The series reportedly will follow the group's main members, Juicy J and DJ Paul, and their entourage as they make their way from Memphis to Los Angeles.

Several notable names in the music industry shake-up the 2006 MOBO Awards. Naming that of Beyonce Knowles and Corinne Bailey Rae who both led the winners at the Music of Black Origin award show held in London, with Beyonce won three and Corinne won two.

As of Beyonce, the American star nabbed the Best International Female, Best Song and Best Video awards for "Deja Vu," whereas Corinne took the awards for Best UK Female and the Best UK Newcomer. Other winners included the Black Eyed Peas, who won the Best Group, Jay-Z who was named the Best International Male, Rihanna who took home the prize for Best R&B and Sean Paul who won the Best Reggae.

Brangelina Created A New Charitable Foundation

Brad Pitt and his baby-mama Angelina Jolie both know how to make it good with their celebrity status. Instead of merely focusing on their career, both actors prefer to involve themselves more in social matters. And after the many good deed they've done, Brangelina is now having a greater project, which is creating a new charitable foundation.

Trevor Neilson, a spokesman for the couple told People that Pitt and Jolie are focusing their newly formed charitable foundation to aid humanitarian causes across the globe, saying "Angelina and Brad are committed to using their resources to help the world's most vulnerable people". The foundation will, furthermore, give away $2 million, $1 million to the Global Action for Children and $1 million to Doctors Without Borders, to help families affected by HIV/AIDS and extreme poverty.

Cameron Diaz Accused Photographer of Assault

It's not easy becoming famous. And it's not easy as well becoming Cameron Diaz and the girlfriend of, also famous, pop singer Justin Timberlake. Both notable Hollywood figures taste the down sides of their celebrity status as they on Tuesday Sept 19th involved in an altercation with a photographer.

Early morning that day at around 12:30 a.m. as Diaz and Timberlake were leaving a friend's home, "A photographer hiding in the bushes attempted to snap a photo of them," said LAPD officer Marjan Mobasser. "They both then chased the photographer for a short distance. The photographer then got into his car and drove toward both (of) them, causing Diaz to jump out of the car's way".

The auction house Christie's has obtained exclusive rights to handle the future sales of Elizabeth Taylor's jewelry, artwork, memorabilia, clothing and other personal possessions, it was announced Wednesday Sept 20th in New York. The exclusive rights come after both parties agreed on some points and signed deal.

"When the items I've collected are cared for by other people I hope they will be loved and respected in a sharing way," said Taylor. "Eventually, they will be passed on to others ... but not too soon!"

U2 Has Been Busy with Some Side Projects

They've been busy working on their next music album. Amidst their hectic schedules working in the recording studio with well-known producer Rick Rubin, U2 also has some other side projects to complete.

The Irish rock band is working on a coffee table book. The book reportedly will contain old photos and anecdotes from the band's evolution from local punk wannabees to international superstars.
