I would like to know where to get the whole outfit...swing coat, knee high boots (suede or leather? Anyone?

posted by In Need of This Outf on Nov 28, 2008

Does anyone know who made the knee high boots Meg Ryan wore with the swing coat when she made up with Sylvie (Annette Benning)? Were they flat or with a heel? Help!

Dying to get that black coat too, like so many of you here. :)

does any one know who designed the coat. Black number with 3/4 length sleeves, and 3/4 length leather gloves. She wear it going to see her mum in hospital.

I have also looked for that coat that Meg Ryan wore in the movie. I contacted a few people. If I get any leads I will post it here. I may have to make one myself.

The Narciso Rodriguez posting was there before i posted my comment about the black coat so I don't think he's the designer of coat. Sigh...

I loved both coats Meg Ryan was wearing - the one she was wearing when she confronted Sylvie and the one with the large metal buttons she wore to the fashion show. It is posted that Narciso Rodriguez is the designer of the coat with the metal buttons. I've searched every site for him and found no coat. Does anyone know who designed the first coat?

Great Chick Flick- Many Laughs- Can definately relate to each & every one of those women- It wasn't over done- it was just realistic.

Went with a good friend and we both loved the movie. Which character did Carrie Fisher play?

In the scene right before Meg Ryan leaves her house to go to her fashion show she puts on a gorgeous black coat with big silver buttons. Who designed that coat and where can I get it???

I did enjoy the fashion show. Since there was very obvious product placement throughout the film, I'm wondering who designed the clothes worn during the fashion show. Does anyone know?

Did Diane English write this? I certainly hope not, because she's slipping. The dialogue in this film was EMBARRASSING. I eagerly anticipated sharp witty lines and a modern version of a film classic. What I got was a made for TV movie that cost me $11.00. Candice Bergen was the only believable character. Oh and can we stop making the black women in film so "ghetto"? I think Barrack and Michelle have taught us that you can be black and not sound like you're an uneducated hip hop artist. It makes the subplot of the friendship between Alex and the others seem pretty implausible. The characters were over exaggerated. Wait until the video and, even then, wait until you have nothing better to do.

I loved this movie - I really felt like these were women who I would choose to be in my life and they reminded me of my group of girls. Candace Bergen's relationship with Meg Ryan reminded me of my relatioship with my mother. Very well done!!
