June 27, 2007 02:06:37In his first post-"Spider-Man 3" interview, the franchise director Sam Raimi eagerly told MTV News what he has in mind about "Spider-Man 4" which Sony Pictures has officially confirmed to be made along with two other installments.
Confessing he does not know what his future holds yet regarding the franchise, the noted filmmaker, however, did admit that he would love to get back for the fourth part if there is a great story to tell to yet leaves it up to Sony Pictures for the decision.

"Spider-Man 4" in Works!
January 22, 2007 03:01:38Yes, the story of the web-swinging superhero still continues on the big screen. The Superhero Hype! has pointed out that Sony Pictures is moving forward to the fourth installment as it learned from a very reliable source that "Spider-Man" scribe David Koepp is involved in talks to pen the script for the project.
Apparently, the hype surrounding "Spider-Man 3" has proven effective enough for Sony to finally decide to make the fourth. The third one previously received phenomenal reaction when footage of the flick was screened at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas several weeks ago.

it would be probably a great movie, but Harry must be resurrected, he can survive anything because of the chemicals. The funeral of Harry could be just a front, but let Harry come back.

Harry (James Franco) must be brought back. He played his part GREAT. He's also Peter's best friend. So the 2 have to be reunited in this film. Peter needs Harry (only James Franco to cast as Harry). PLEASE!!!!

Spider-man 3 was the worst movie I have ever seen. Sam Raimi should never be allowed to direct another movie. Not ever. Every sequel to this series will continue to suck more and more until it returns to Marvel and they get some good actors to restart the saga.

Its not Carnage everyone thinks that but it's not. It's Anti Venom. Look him up.

Now, a year ago, Sam & Tobey both publicly said they weren't interested in Spidey 4. However, now we see a turnaround. Still I think it a bit early to speculate, let alone declare who the villains are. I bet Mr. Raimi himself isn't even sure. But, options ARE open in Carnage and Lizard. Let's leave it at that shall we?

I heard the company that makes these Spider-Man movies said that they will have a total of six spiderman movies. So for Spider-Man 6, they should the sinister six as the villians. :)

posted by jjq on Jul 06, 2009You could bring back Doc Ock as the leader of the sinister 6. I think his "death" in the second movie could easily go either way. He could have drowned, or, since he was on top of the sun in the water, the arms could have pulled him out. Who knows? My money's on the sinister 6, though :)
