I know you will all hate this but the new HP movie that was meant to release in November has been moved to July 2009. But the game will still release in November so that's one good thing.

Just letting the so-called "Harry Potter Fan" (commented on 15th July) know that Horace Slughorn is not in fact the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. That position is given to Severus Snape while Slughorn takes the Potions classes, which you would know if you actually read the books and were a true fan.

I agree about a book based on James and sirius' childhood at hogwarts. I think that there are so many things that could branch from this series of novels and I would read anything released by JKR

posted by mrsfrodotata on Jul 09, 2008

its awsome!

posted by edza on Jul 09, 2008

I think the prequel JKR did about the friendship between James and Sirius as teenagers would be a great read. We already got a taste of them in OoTP during Snape's worst memory (best part of the book), and that made me want to read more about the Marauders and their adventures at Hogwarts. If JK wrote a book about that I would buy it in an instant and I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one.

I have read all of the Harry Potter adventures time and time again. It is one of the most creative and thrilling series of all times. The sixth book was awesome, but the seventh... i hate to say being a guy and all, but i cried like a little girl at the end. Every book in the series sucks you so far into the plot that i admire you if you can put it down. I read the 7th book in 2 days, and have read it twice since. I wish there were more coming, and i can say that i am truly sad to say goodbye to the harry potter legacy!!

posted by dkirkpatrick85 on Apr 28, 2008

OMG! i loved the sixth book. it was so awesome. theres so many things that you find out in this book; all the secrets of voldermont. and the seventh book.. lets not even talk bout that one. that one is even better. so once again like the girl b4 said, THANKS J.K. ROWLING!!!

posted by halfpint on Aug 03, 2007

I loved this book so much, it has so much mystery and dark magic, and a little romance in it! I thought it was cute when Harry fell for Ginny but he didn't want to go out with her because of what Ron might think. I'm so desperate to get the seventh book! I'm hoping Harry might become an Animagus in the next one- maybe a phoenix!
