This is at least the 10th film made on the 1996 disaster, nothing new in this film. As with the previous attempts, little if any attention is paid to the native Sherpas who are expected to save the lives of those ill-equipt to even be there. Additionally, the families of those who died (Hall, Fisher, Boukeereve) are receiving nada from this film, making it an ego boost akin to the hubris shown by the climbers who survived.
