Story

Soon after her father's death, college freshman Ariel (Disney Channel star Emily Osment) learns her mother, Dana, has met Adam (One Tree Hill's Paul Johansson), a seemingly well-meaning and charming man at a grief support group. He claims to be a nurse, but the longer he hangs around the sicker and more isolated Dana becomes, even from Ariel. When Dana suddenly goes missing it's up to Ariel to discover the terrible truth of Adam's past before it is too late. With the help of Adam's son Ben (Pretty Little Liars' Gregg Sulkin), they will stop at nothing to bring Dana back.

“..holds no surprises, nor does it rise above its source material, but those who enjoy the "menaced women" genre will probably enjoy it well enough..”
by Joyce Slaton [Common Sense Media]
“..wasn't as entertaining as its predecessors A Mother's Nightmare and A Sister's Nightmare and a Second Cousin Twice Removed's Nightmare..”
by Jill O'Rourke [Crushable]
