Bon Jovi will be the first musician to officially re-open the newly rebuilt The O2, or formerly known as Millenium Dome on June 24.
Justin Timberlake, The Rolling Stones, Scissor Sisters, Take That and Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds have all booked a time slot for their concerts at the London's stadium. Before them, The O2 will be opened on June 23 for its employees only in a free event featuring Tom Jones, Kaiser Chiefs and Basement Jaxx.

Sunday June 4th, 2006 was the day when veteran action actor Sylvester Stallone celebrated his 60th birthday. His wife Jennifer threw a party for him, during which the man was joined by fellow Planet Hollywood founders Bruce Willis and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Other celebrities attended the bash, took place at Stallone's soon-to-open Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino and included disco dancing and a birthday serenade from Tom Jones, among others were John Travolta and his wife, Kelly Preston, David Spade and James Caan.

"Accepting a knighthood is a great and humbling honor". That's for sure for Tom Jones. The veteran singer has on Wednesday March 29th, 2006 collected a knighthood from British monarch Queen Elizabeth II for services to music. And so, Jones will in the future be known as Sir Tom Jones.
"I know my family - and I hope my friends and fans - will share my gratitude and excitement. I can only thank the fans who have supported me for years for making it possible. It is fantastic. It was lovely to see the Queen again. I love seeing the Queen and I have always been a royalist. She is lovely and she still is lovely. She has got a great smile and her whole face lights up when she smiles." So Jones said expressing his feeling.

Joining other fellow singers who previously had been bestowed the same honor, like Paul McCartney, Elton John and Mick Jagger, he was accompanied by Robbie Coltrane, Imelda Staunton, and Bruce Forsyth among others to be the member of this Order of the British Empire.
