March 09, 2010 02:03:54The first look of Sheryl Crow as Grayson's new girlfriend on "Cougar Town" has been shared through a few promotional pictures. The singer will have her episode aired on March 24 in the episode called "Turn This Car Around".
"In her first of three episodes, Sheryl Crow guest stars as Sara, a confident wine rep who sets her sights on Grayson; but is he strong enough to be her man?" read the press release from ABC. "Meanwhile, when Ellie tells Jules she can't change past a certain age, Jules is determined to prove her wrong by giving up wine for a month; and Bobby's new dog poses some unwanted competition for Andy."
Sheryl Crow to Show Comedy Chops on 'Cougar Town'
February 06, 2010 01:02:59Sheryl Crow will not only arrive on "Cougar Town" as a one-time guest but a heavily recurring one. Sources have confirmed to some media outlets that the Grammy-winning singer has secured a slot in the ABC half-hour comedy as a major character.
According to EW, Crow will tackle the role of Grayson's new girlfriend. Played by Josh Hopkins, Grayson is a newly-divorced neighbor to main character Courteney Cox's Jules Cobb. Tapping Crow to be his girlfriend is a U-turn since Grayson usually enjoys dating younger women and rubbing it in Jules' face.

Following announcement that Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Bono, Alicia Keys and Sting are tapped to sing at the gig, it is now confirmed Taylor Swift will make a live performance as well. The country music singer will sing in London now that the concert will be aired in the country. On top of that, Robert Pattinson is also expected to take the hosting job at the forthcoming gig.
According to E! Online, the London-based concert will also have Shakira, Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna and Jay-Z as the musical guests. The L.A. gig which is hosted by George Clooney will see Dave Matthews, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock and Keith Urban taking the mic. Meanwhile, the NYC show will have Wyclef Jean as the host and Jennifer Hudson as well as Mary J. Blige singing live.

Sheryl Crow Gives Free Music for Those who Vote

She announced on Wednesday, August 20 that she will give the first 50,000 people who register themselves to vote, a free digital copy of her album "Detours".
"I hope people wake up and emotionally engage in issues," the singer said in a phone interview with The Associated Press. She added that "Detours" actually is the perfect reflection of what's going around the world that may contribute to the vote. "It's about the issues that everyone's talking about, but there's a lot of hope. At this moment in my life, writing about anything else would be uninteresting and impossible because I feel such urgency," she added.
