October 25, 2008 11:10:31The official MySpace page for "Repo! The Genetic Opera" has posted a new clip from the rock musical thriller. Entitled "Chase the Morning", the three-minute plus clip reveals the scene where Alexa Vega's Shilo Wallace meets Sarah Brightman's Blind Mag for the first time. In this musical number, Mag introduces herself as Shilo's godmother and shows her extraordinary ability.
In the year of 2056 where the planet has been devastated by the organ failure epidemic, one biotech company, GeneCo, comes out as a savior as it sells organ transplant. However, there is a catch behind it, if the person receiving the transplant fails to pay on schedule, he or she has to face the 'Repo' man. Amidst all of that, a girl with a rare blood disease is looking for a cure. Instead of finding what she has been looking for, she is being sucked to the world of GeneCo.

August 09, 2008 01:08:40The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games was officially launched yesterday August 8 with a spectacular ceremony that includes a duet performance by Sarah Brightman and Chinese singer Liu Huan. The event that was held at the National Stadium of the China's capital, witnessed the international collaboration of "You and Me" that becomes the official theme song for the game this year.
"You and Me" was specially written for the occasion by France-based Chinese composed Chen Qigang. Brightman and Huan ascended a gigantic Globe representing the world to perform the song. "Being up there was one of the biggest thrills in my life," Brightman commented after the performance. Huan added, "I think the show has succeeded in sending the message ... communicating with the world in harmony."
Sarah Brightman to Open 2008 Beijing Olympic Games
August 07, 2008 03:08:56Sarah Brightman is confirmed as sole international performer who will open 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. She will perform at the ceremony on August 8 with a Chinese singer Liu Huan.
The grand opening will subsequently be aired live on NBC's The Today Show. Unfortunately, the title and content of the theme song that the two singers will sing, still remain a mystery.
Sarah Brightman to Preview Her New Album on NBC
January 02, 2008 11:01:12After coming out with the announcement of her new studio album, Sarah Brightman sets a date to give her fans a sneak peek of it. 'Symphony' which will be released on January 29 will be featured on NBC Sunday special, 'Progressive Fashion on Ice'.
Brightman will sing several songs from the album while professional skaters glide on ice wearing designers outfits. The show will be premiered on January 20 at 4 P.M. ET, and broadcast twice more on Style Network on Sunday, February 3 at 10 A.M. and Friday, February 8 at 5 P.M.

The 81st Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, took place Thursday morning November 22nd in New York City, was hosted by "The Today Show" cast of Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira and Al Roker.
