First Trailer of 'Prince of Persia: Sands of Time' Arrives
November 03, 2009 09:11:23The first official trailer for video game adaptation "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" has just been released by Walt Disney Pictures. First outed by IGN, the sneak peek is later put forth by MySpace. Narrated by Gemma Arterton's Tamina, it features glimpses of Jake Gyllenhaal as Dastan in action as well as offers first look at the magical dagger and what it is capable of.
"Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" follows Dastan, a street urchin in 6th century Persia who after showing valor in battle, is adopted by the king as his heir. Now as the fate of the world is in jeopardy, he must join forces with Tamina, a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.
New 'Prince of Persia' Photos Roll Out
July 27, 2009 04:07:05Empire Online has put forth a series of brand new photos from "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time". Two of the fresh pictures display Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan and Gemma Arterton as Princess Tamina trying to make their escape.
The first one sees the two drenched from head to toe with water, jumping off from what seems to be a palace. The second one captures them escaping on horseback. In addition to those two images, photos of director Mike Newell and producer Jerry Bruckheimer on the set are also included.
Two 'Prince of Persia: Sands of Time' Posters Jump Out
July 21, 2009 09:07:26Two brand new posters of "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" have been debuted by Empire. Looking more like a magazine cover rather than an epic adventure set, each of the one-sheets brings up two of the film's main characters, Jake Gyllenhaal's 'rogue prince' Dastan and Gemma Arterton's 'mysterious princess' Tamina.
The two posters are said to be U.K. version since they are released by Empire which base is in London. The one-sheets pair also came out soon after Entertainment Weekly (EW) put out the adventure fantasy's first official photo on their Comic-Con preview issue. The EW's image focuses on exposing Dastan in an action pose.

Gemma and Stefano, who is best known as the body double of Daniel Craig in "Quantum of Solace", were spotted sporting matching red-colored outfits for the bash. The movie beauty was snapped wearing a ring on her engagement finger. Family and friends who joined them for the party were said loading the pair with gifts.

The fresh picture coming out via Gemma Arterton Online exposes Gemma Arterton portraying Io, Perseus' love interest.
The freshly-found photo is taken on the set of the remake movie. In it, the MI6 agent Strawberry Fields in "Quantum of Solace" is captured dressed in her Io costume. She is wrapped in a giant shawl and overlooking her shoulder while in front of her lays a vast sea. Camera and director Louis Leterrier is spotted standing behind her.
Gemma Arterton Rumored Dating Daniel Craig's Body Double

Amidst sketchy details on the twosome's rumored romance, a source tells Britain's Reveal magazine that the unidentified stunt man "was Daniel's body double and there was clearly chemistry" between him and Gemma from the start. "They've been together for a few months now and it's going really well," the source continues.

Receiving the Best Film prize on the ceremony held at London's Grosvenor Hotel were executive producer Kevin De La Noy and Scarecrow depicter Cillian Murphy. Gemma Arterton Confirms 'Clash of the Titans' Role

Slash Film reported that this Daniel Craig's co-star in "Quantum of Solace" let it slip on Sunday night, March 29, at the Empire Awards, that she has been tapped to star in the remake of 1981 Greek mythology film.
Slash Film's report has been strengthened by The Sydney Morning Herald. In the article wherein she set things straight on rumors of her French-kissing Jake Gyllenhaal during "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" filming, the paper wrote that the 23-year-old is about to join the principal photography of "Titans". After having procedures to remove the extra fingers, she still has small lumps on the side of her hands as a result of the surgery.
Sharing her oddity in an interview with Esquire magazine, the screen beauty reveals that Polydactyly runs in her family. "People are really interested but repulsed at the same time. My dad had them, and my granddad," so she recalled. Nevertheless, she admitted she's really proud of what she called as the "little oddity," stating, "I feel like we're one-step ahead - a sign of things to come. We could do more stuff if we had extra fingers - faster texting, emailing, better guitar-playing."

'Quantum of Solace' Cast Rumored Caught in Gang War, Producers Clarify
February 19, 2008 04:02:58Following the uprising reports that James Bond's star Daniel Craig and the rest of cast and crew were caught in a middle of a gun battle between two rival gangs in Panama, "Quantum of Solace" producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli cleared out the rumors. According to MI6 News, the producers have released joint statement denying the reports stating that it was a misunderstanding.
Letting out assurance that the cast and crew haven't been threatened in any way possible, the statement read, "The filming of 'Quantum of Solace', with director Marc Forster at the helm, is on schedule and will continue as planned in Panama. None of the cast or crew have ever been in danger. Reports of troubles with gangs are untrue. The protests are to do with the fatal shooting of a construction worker in Colon and are unrelated to our filming activities. Our cast and crew have not been threatened and no thefts or muggings have occurred." Further, they noted that the untrue reports made by British newspaper The Daily Star have made the cast and crew's family in the U.K. stressed out.

According to Hollywood Reporter, on Friday, January 4, Eon Productions in London, Santa Monica-based Danjaq Production, as well as ICM, Arterton's agent, have confirmed the casting.
