Producers Confirmed Oldman in the Next Potter Film
February 16, 2006 01:02:53Despite recent reports claiming there won't be Gary Oldman in the next Harry Potter film, producers have confirmed the actor's come back to the "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
Explaining on that matter producer David Heyman said "We're not shooting his part for quite a while, and as is always the case, you begin with the parts that are most pressing. We have every intention of having Gary Oldman play Sirius Black."
Oldman Is In Talks for Black Role
February 14, 2006 05:02:24Updating the previous news concerning the speculation of Gary Oldman's absence in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", the actor has been reported to be in negotiations to reprise his role as Sirius Black. Rumors about this case have spread when the principal photography on the movie has been commenced on February 6 at the U.K.'s Leavesden Studios without Oldman's presence as he at that time had not yet begun his negotiations with Warner Bros. Despite the fact that "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" has begun filming, Oldman has yet to be signed for the third term.
