Bay area rapper has just dropped a music video in support of his -featuring single called "Wake It Up", which will appear in his upcoming twelfth major studio album called "". The effort, which is produced by and , is reportedly due to come out on October 28 under the courtesy of Columbia Records.

The music video for the tune has Akon and some beautiful young ladies as cameos. One of the girls is seen in yellow bikini, swimming in the beach, while the others are enjoying the company of E-40 in his luxurious mansion. On some scenes, the rapper is also captured rapping in an all-night outdoor party with the girls and some friends, enjoying the sea breeze.

is turning 40 later this month. And talking about 40, it will be big. Yes, E-40 is turning BIG 40. The Bay Area rapper is venturing into new business aside of rapping, scored an endorsement deal to launch his own line of healthy water which also caries the number 40 in its name.

Planning to hold a big bash inside of Caesars Forum Shops at Poetry Nightclub in Las Vegas to mark his forthcoming 40th birthday, on date 15th later this month, E-40 will at the same event unveil his "40 Water" flavor of water/energy drink.

The U.S. Pop Album Chart's Top 10 Debut

Time goes by and the U.S. pop album chart also sees some changes in its Top 10 position. Make a surprise jump to the top of the chart is the soundtrack to the Disney cable TV movie "High School Musical", selling over 142,000 copies for the week ended Sunday. Thus, this is the second time since its release 10 weeks ago that the set seizes the No. 1 spot on the chart.

In the meantime, the week's 2nd position belongs to British singer/songwriter whose album "Back to Bedlam" sold 126,000 copies in its 24th week. Bay Area rapper gloriously earns his first top 10 on the Billboard 200 in a decade as "My Ghetto Report Card" secures the 3rd rank with 94,000 copies. R&B singer 's former chart-topper "In My Own Words" climbs one place to No. 4 with 77,000 copies. Elsewhere, last week's champ, 's "Reality Check," slips to No. 5 with 75,000 copies in its second round.
