Kanye West Leads 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards Nominations With Nine
September 19, 2009 10:09:55Nominees for this year's BET Hip-Hop Awards have been announced on Wednesday evening, September 16 on 106 & PARK. Leading the pack is nowadays most talked music star Kanye West who collected nine nominations in total.
West, who drew criticism after interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at 2009 MTV VMAs over the weekend, picked up nominations for Best Hip-Hop Collaboration, Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year, Producer of the Year, CD of the Year, MVP of the Year, Hustler of the Year, the Made-You-Look Award (for style) and People's Champ. He was followed closely behind by fellow performers Lil Wayne and Jay-Z, who earned seven nods each. The third biggest nominee was T.I. with six nominations.

November 08, 2008 11:11:03In support of his new song "Go Hard", DJ Khaled premieres a music video which was shot on the same day T-Pain filmed his "Karaoke" music video. Co-produced by Naaila and directed by Hypes Williams, the video presents cameo appearances from Ace Hood, Rick Ross, and Tay Dizm among others.
"Go Hard" is the second single from Khaled's third studio effort "We Global", which has been available for purchase across the U.S. on September 16. The new track is produced by The Runners and features T-Pain and Kanye West on the hook.
DJ Khaled to Release His Second Attempt Album

Radio personality DJ Khaled has set the release date for album "We the Best". The sophomore album will hit the stores by June 12 via Terror Squad/KOCH Records.
Khaled as usual involves many of his artist friends in the making of this record. In the first single "We Takin' Over" alone, there are T.I., Akon, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and the rapper Baby to back it. Other musicians lending their hands for this album include The Game, Jadakiss, Paul Wall, Ja Rule, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Styles P, Cassidy, Juelz Santana and Young Dro.
