Desperate Housewives Want a Bigger Payment
January 25, 2005 10:01:13One of the many stars play in ABC series hit sitcom Desperate Housewives, Nicollette Sheridan asks for a higher payment due to the movie success in winning two Golden Globes awards last week. A long with Sheridan, there are also Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria with the same demand.
An insider at Touchstone Television says that the stars have earned for $47,000 to $76,000 per episde, but they want more as that amount is "peanuts" compared to the cash coming in from selling it around the world. Even worse if it is compared to the $1.8 million--a-show and cars the stars of Friends were making. Thus, Sheridan and friends want more and still wait for the "porsche" than just a bunch of roses she got for Desperate Housewives amazing ratings.
