Adrien Brody Is Among 'Predators' Cast
October 07, 2009 10:10:06One major casting news has rushed in for "Predators". The Hollywood Reporter (THR) has recently come up with the story that Academy Award-winning actor Adrien Brody has been set to star. His character has been described as a heroic mercenary who happens to be the leader of the group hunted by the Predators.
Joining him in the cast ensemble are Alice Braga, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, Walton Goggins and UFC fighter Oleg Taktarov. Braga will take on the tough female killer, Ali will be a man who is not afraid to die, Goggins is set to be the loose canon of the group, and Taktarov is to portray an ex-Russian special ops agent.
First Clip and Behind-the-Scenes From 'Splice'
October 06, 2009 01:10:01A clip and behind-the-scenes video have been outed by IGN as first looks into sci-fi thriller "Splice". The clip entitled "It's Alive" presents Adrien Brody as Clive Nicoli and Sarah Polley as Elsa Kast, and gives out the scene wherein they encounter the new creature they engineered.
The behind-the-scenes video, in the meantime, opens with a brief intro from director Vincenzo Natali. It then continues to show executive producer Guillermo Del Toro and stars Brody and Polley discussing about the premise of the movie. Most of the footage seen in the video were taken from the film's set.
Another Trailer of Dario Argento's 'Giallo'

Looking like a compacted version of the first one, the new trailer is faster in pace to reveal that Adrien Brody has little time to track a model before the serial killer finishes her.
The title in Italy means "Yellow" which is the nickname given to the antagonist. After being abandoned by his junkie prostitute mother at birth, the disfigured serial maniac chooses his victims based on their beauty. Fashion model Celine is his latest prey. When her distraught sister Linda reports Celine missing, she's sent to eccentric Inspector Avolfi who has made it his mission to bring Yellow to justice.
Card Trick Clip From 'The Brothers Bloom'
May 05, 2009 03:05:45A new clip from Rian Johnson-directed "The Brothers Bloom" has been released by Summit Entertainment. Posted via Apple, the snippet is entitled "Card Trick" and lasts for more than two minutes. It centers on Rachel Weisz's beautiful and eccentric heiress character by the name of Penelope.
The clip opens with a shot of Penelope's hands straightening a deck of card before cutting it in half while her voice is heard in the background. "When I was five, I got really bad...rashes," she begins explaining her childhood condition to Adrien Brody's Bloom who is sitting across the table. As she continues recalling, she performs a card trick and reveals that her condition turns out being an error.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the Academy Award-best actor recipient for his role as Polish pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman in "The Pianist" has been signed to topline the latest thriller set to be helmed by Italian horrormeister Dario Argento.
By signing in with the project, the 34-year-old New York native will team up with Asia Argento and Ray Liotta. He is also going to shed his acting skills with fellow thesps, Emmanuelle Seigner and Elsa Pataky. It is further explained that the joining of Brody to the film will mark the first time an Argento film nailed a big name to be the star. Additionally, apart from showcasing his acting, Brody will also be one of the film's executive producers.

Joining Rachel Weisz in the list, Brody will portray the younger one of the title characters who falls for a mysterious millionaire played by Weisz. Meanwhile, Kikuchi, fresh from her performance in "Babel", will become the brothers' sexy and secretive accomplice.

Less than two weeks after the unveiling of his new starring vehicle, "The Darjeeling Limited", Owen Wilson has quickly made a follow-up about the ones to play his two brothers in the project. The funnyman has recently revealed to Australian newspaper, The Herald Sun, that they surprisingly are Adrien Brody and the film's co-writer, Jason Schwartzman, thereby making the main cast fixed for sure.
For Brody, this picture will mark his first collaboration with Wilson while the second for Schwartzman as the two previously appeared together in "Rushmore" (1998). The movie itself is planned to be shot in India under the direction of Wes Anderson, a longtime friend of Wilson.

Fellow actors Adrien Brody and Lindsay Lohan are about to land their feet on a new independent romantic comedy titled "Speechless". The flick, moreover, will have Brian Dannelly in hand directing with shooting scheduled to start later this year.
Based on a story by L. Sprague De Camp from 1952, "Speechless" tells about an introverted man (Brody) who is invited to give a speech at his childhood friend's wedding and turns to a service that allows someone (Lohan) to speak through him.
