November 19, 2007 10:11:44Words are now abuzz that Warner Bros. Pictures has already picked up actors to fill in roles in its fast-tracking "Justice League of America." Numerous movie sites have brought up tidbits saying the names include Scott Porter, Adam Brody, Common, and Teresa Palmer.
Porter, recently appeared in Talia Lugacy's "Descent", is said to be billed as Superman while Brody, best known for FOX series "The O.C", as The Flash aka Wally West, the third person to take the identity of the hero. As for Common, the rapper supposedly will play John Stewart/Green Lantern with Palmer to portray Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Batman's enemy Ra's al Ghul, not Wonder Woman as previously speculated.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that director George Miller is seeing 35-40 acting talents for starring slots in the movie from October 14-15, 2007.
Among the pack are rising stars such as Adam Brody of "The O.C." fame, "Final Destination 3" female lead Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Teresa Palmer who recently appeared in "December Boys." Names like rapper Common, Joseph Cross, D.J. Cotrona, Michael Angarano, and Max Thieriot are also reported to test for the flick's roles.

Preparing to display their on screen charisma together in one frame, Josh Lucas and Adam Brody have both given their agreement to take part in a new drama feature entitled "Death in Love" that has already had Jacqueline Bisset and Lukas Haas in the cast lineup.
Pic is said to present a pair of story lines that revolve around two brothers, played by Lucas and Haas. While Haas' character has to deal with his mother, portrayed by Bisset, his brother is lost in life until he is befriended by a scam artist, played by Brody.

While Jessica Alba, Adam Brody, Ken Marino, Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux have all signed on to star in the comedy "The Ten", the likes of Winona Ryder, Famke Janssen, Gretchen Mol, Liev Schreiber, Rob Corddry, Ron Silver and Oliver Platt have just joined the City Lights Pictures' film project.
"The Ten", the satire that spoofs the Bible's Ten Commandments, is being directed by David Wain from a screenplay by Wain and Ken Marino.
