The Chicago rapper made an unexpected appearance at comedian Deon Cole's show at the Hollywood Improv on Tuesday, April 7, where he shared the stage and casually interacted with Cole and fellow comedian Ocean Glapion throughout the evening.

When Glapion asked if there was any artist he considered a worthy opponent in a Verzuz showdown, Ye shook his head and confidently replied, “Nobody,” accompanied by his trademark smirk.

Supporting his claim, Kanye West highlighted that despite performing many hits during his recent sold-out concerts at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium, he chose not to include several major songs such as Gold Digger and Touch the Sky.

While on stage, Ye also briefly discussed the deluxe edition of his album Bully, revealing that it is still being finalized. In a playful moment, he agreed to let Deon Cole contribute an interlude to the project, reminiscent of the comedic skits by DeRay Davis on The College Dropout and Late Registration. Incidentally, DeRay Davis also made an appearance at Cole’s show that night.

Podcaster Antwan "Ish" Marby sided with Ye, stating, “I still think Hov is the greatest rapper ever, but when you getting up there with 20 bangers, hits... yes, Kanye can get him out of there.” On the other hand, Brian "B.Dot" Miller believed JAY-Z would have the advantage, arguing, “If we’re talking about lead songs, I don’t think that JAY-Z loses to Kanye West.” Budden agreed with this assessment.
