AceShowbiz - Cardi B nearly called off her Atlanta concert following a tense backstage confrontation with venue employees. The incident occurred just hours before the rapper’s second Little Miss Drama Tour performance at State Farm Arena on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
During a live Instagram broadcast, the 33-year-old artist was seen engaging in a heated exchange with what appeared to be venue staff. Cardi B expressed frustration over the way members of her team were being treated, accusing the employees of disrespect. In the video, she can be heard stating, "Your f-king employees are being disrespectful ... I'm not performing today." She demanded to speak directly with management to address the issue.
Cardi B elaborated on the situation, saying, "We got in here, your employees are being f-king rude for no reason, being rude for no reason. I feel a certain type of way, because you being disrespectful. I did 35 shows, and I never had a problem, and we've been kind to everybody." Her remarks highlighted her dissatisfaction with the venue’s staff despite the smooth progress of her previous performances.
Despite the initial threat to cancel, Cardi B ultimately went on to perform at State Farm Arena, closing out the final date of her Little Miss Drama Tour. This tour marks her first headlining arena series, supporting her long-anticipated sophomore album Am I the Drama?, which reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart in September 2025.
Following the concert, Cardi B posted a message on X, emphasizing the importance of kindness and respect in positions of power. She wrote, "When you hold power and authority, use it with kindness and respect. Never abuse it... because not everyone will endure your arrogance in silence. Treat others exactly like you demand to be treated. Atlanta... I'll see you soon."
The Little Miss Drama Tour began on February 11, 2026, in Palm Desert, California, and features over 30 dates. It has included appearances by a diverse lineup of special guests such as Meek Mill, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, Kehlani, Lil' Kim, Fetty Wap, GloRilla, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
Billboard has reached out to both State Farm Arena and Cardi B’s representatives for additional comments regarding the backstage incident. As of now, no further statements have been released.
