AceShowbiz - Ivanna Lisette Ortiz made her first court appearance following her arrest related to the shooting incident at the home of Rihanna.

During the hearing, Ortiz wore a blue jumpsuit and had her hair braided. She faces serious charges including attempted murder and assault. Her attorney initially entered a plea but later withdrew it. The court scheduled her next appearance for March 25.

The Florida resident remains in custody with bail set at $1.8 million. She waived her right to a speedy trial, and the judge issued protective orders for Rihanna and her partner, A$AP Rocky. Additionally, Ortiz has been ordered to surrender all firearms in her possession.

Ortiz, 35, is accused of firing multiple rounds into the Grammy-winning singer’s residence while she was inside with her three children. Police tracked Ortiz’s white Tesla Model 3 to a shopping center parking area where she was apprehended.

Ortiz reportedly has a history of mental health issues. In a video posted on YouTube on January 4, she made disturbing remarks about Rihanna, holding a "Praying Woman’s Journal" and suggesting that Rihanna intended to harm her. She also implied that upon Rihanna's death, she would be taken to her "future" by God.

A second video uploaded on January 21 shows Ortiz continuing a similar tirade while holding the same book. In this clip, she appears to compare Rihanna’s face to the devil and launches into a rant about unrelated topics such as homework.

There is no known direct connection between Rihanna and Ortiz prior to this incident.
