AceShowbiz - "The Bachelor" alum Clayton Echard issued a public rebuke towards his ex Gabby Windey on Instagram, addressing the critical remarks she made about his dance videos in a podcast appearance. Echard, who found solace and self-confidence in dancing, didn't hold back in condemning her words as bullying.
"Gabby, what you're doing is bullying. There's no other way around it," Echard stated in his Instagram video. He referred to Windey's comments on the "Las Culturistas" podcast last week, where she called him a "toe-looking a**, skinny jean-wearing" guy and mocked his dance moves.
Echard emphasized the positive impact dance has had on his life, saying it has given him "so much self-love and self-confidence." He explained that dancing serves as "movement therapy" that helps him release anger and frustrations, stressing that his dance videos are intended to inspire others to step out of their comfort zones.
"I'm not the greatest at it, and I'm aware of that. I'm not delusional, but it's me versus me every single day," Echard shared. He called her out for using her platform to set a "really bad example" and urged her to "do better."
Windey and Echard' shared history as romantic interests dates back in 2022 on Season 26 of "The Bachelor". While Windey remarked that she only "escaped" their relationship by the "skin of [her] teeth," Echard revealed that he hasn't spoken to her in three years, making her recent jabs even more surprising.
Windey, who has since come out as queer and married comedian Robby Hoffman, has yet to respond to Echard's accusations.
