Blake Lively's recent baking venture taken a turn for the unsavory as officials at the health department have launched an investigation following numerous complaints.

AceShowbiz - Blake Lively's appearance behind the counter at Rise Doughnuts, in Wilton, Connecticut has turned into a sticky situation. While she's gushing about being in a "happy place," her doughnut-making escapade has instead ignited a wave of complaints and an ensuing investigation over alleged health code violations.

Onlookers and fans were quick to criticize Lively, 37, who was seen baking without a hairnet, hat, or hair-tie - practices essential for maintaining hygiene in a food prep area.

According to a spokesperson from the Wilton Health Department, multiple complaints were received regarding this unsanitary conduct. The establishment, acquired by Hugh Mangum and Laura Malone in 2022, is now under scrutiny.

Social media and review platforms have been abuzz with disgruntled comments. Several Yelp users voiced their concerns over the alleged unclean practices. One Yelp review stated, "Found a hair in my doughnut, would not recommend. Do the workers not have hygiene training before serving food?"

Another user, J.J., questioned, "Is it the practice at this doughnut shop to allow employees handling the food to wear their hair loose & hang a few inches above a tray of doughnuts? Why don't your employees have to wear hairnets? This does not seem sanitary."

A picture posted on Rise Doughnuts' Instagram, dated October 11, conspicuously shows employee working without appropriate hair coverings, further fueling the fire. As a result, Yelp has paused new reviews for Rise Doughnuts while its support team monitors content related to media reports.

The incident is yet another controversy trailing Blake Lively, who is currently embroiled in a legal battle with "It Ends With Us" co-star and director Justin Baldoni.

Lively has accused Baldoni of sexual harassment while Baldoni filed a lawsuit alleging defamation and libel against her and her publicist. The heated legal drama continues to unravel, with the next federal trial scheduled for 2026.

Lively's recent actions, including groping her co-star Henry Golding, have only added to the negative attention she has been receiving. It's apparent that whether in the kitchen or on set, controversies seem to follow the actress wherever she goes.
