In the latest development of 'It Ends With Us' legal drama, Blake Lively demands stronger protections due to alleged threats targeting family members and witnesses.

AceShowbiz - Blake Lively has requested a more stringent protective order from a judge in her ongoing legal confrontation with co-star and director Justin Baldoni, citing alarming instances of violent, profane, sexist, and threatening communications.

This development follows an earlier agreement between attorneys for Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and Baldoni to implement a "model" protective order ahead of their civil trial scheduled for March 2026. The trial aims to prevent the public sharing of sensitive information as discovery begins.

In a letter submitted to Judge Lewis J. Liman of the Southern District of New York, Lively and Reynolds' legal team emphasized that "good cause exists for the Court to provide additional protections" beyond those originally stipulated.

Lively claimed family members, witnesses, and "It Ends With Us" castmates have been targeted with violent and threatening messages.

The protective measures sought include creating an "Attorney's Eyes Only ('AEO')" category for highly confidential and personal information, particularly relevant in cases involving high-profile individuals where sensitive material could lead to potential harm or privacy violations.

Specifically, the document requests that information classified as AEO would cover "previously non-disclosed information unique to the entertainment industry (such as, for example, creative ideas or client relationships)," as well as "information of a personal or intimate nature in a case involving high-profile individuals and allegations of sexual harassment."

Baldoni's team condemned the violent threats issued to all parties involved, affirming that Baldoni himself has faced death threats and unwelcome visits to his home where he resides with his children. However, they opposed these additional protective measures, contending that such changes are unnecessary.

Lively's latest request came after she filed an amended complaint, including "a new claim of defamation" against Baldoni and mentioning that there were other women made feeling "uncomfortable" on set of their movie.

She didn't name the individuals but reports have since emerged that co-star Jenny Slate filed a complaint against producer and studios boss Jamey Heath following an incident that made her unease.
