Marshall Rose, married to actress Candice Bergen, has passed away at the age of 88 from complications with Parkinson's disease, leaving behind a legacy of love, philanthropy, and impactful service.

AceShowbiz - Marshall Rose, the husband of actress Candice Bergen, has passed away at the age of 88. Rose died from complications with Parkinson's disease on Saturday, February 15, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Brighton Beach, New York, in 1937, Rose earned degrees in economics and law. He had a distinguished career in real estate development, overseeing projects such as Frank Gehry's IAC building and the renovation of Madison Square Garden.
In addition to his professional achievements, Rose was a dedicated philanthropist. He served for 30 years on the board of the New York Public Library and was passionate about adult literacy programs.
Rose met Bergen in 2000 through mutual friends. They married in June of that year, and were approaching their 25th wedding anniversary at the time of Rose's passing.
Rose was remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather in his obituary. He is survived by Bergen, his children Wendi and Andrew, his stepdaughter Chloe, and his grandchildren Alexander, Clio, Ell, Milo, Arthur, and Alice.
Rose's funeral will be held at Central Synagogue on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the New York Public Library in his memory.
Bergen, who was widowed when she met Rose, has said that Rose was the perfect husband. She described him as a handsome, charming, and trustworthy man with a deep love for his family and a commitment to his community.
