Teddi, the daughter of John Mellencamp, announced her battle with multiple brain tumors on February 12. She had been experiencing severe headaches for several weeks, leading to a CT scan and MRI and eventually her diagnosis.

The surgery was to remove two tumors while the remaining smaller ones will be treated with radiation later. The procedure was a success, according to Edwin, but Teddi has a tough recovery. "I've never seen @teddimellencamp in so much pain," he dished on. "She's finally getting some needed rest."

The brain tumors came just two years after Teddi's struggle with stage 2 melanoma, a severe form of skin cancer. Over the course of her struggle with melanoma, she underwent 16 surgeries, highlighting the gravity of her health journey.

Just two months ago, she received a biopsy-free skin check. "It's the first time, and over two years, I've gone in for my three-month check and not had to have a biopsy," she emotionally said on Instagram.
