AceShowbiz - Vin Diesel has dismissed lingering speculations of a feud with former "Fast and Furious" co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson through a shoutout and a throwback Instagram post.
On Monday, January 7, Diesel took to Instagram to share a picture of himself and Johnson posing together at the 2011 premiere of "Fast Five" in Rio de Janeiro. In the image, Diesel is giving a thumbs up while they both smile with arms around each other. The caption reads, "All love... Always..."
Diesel's Instagram post follows a moment at the 2025 Golden Globes, where the actor briefly addressed Johnson before presenting an award. "Hi Dwayne...," Diesel said, smiling at Johnson, who was nominated for his role in "Moana 2," to which Johnson responded with a smile and nod.
The public reconciliation comes after years of reported tension between the two. Rumors of a rift emerged in 2016 after filming for "The Fate of the Furious." Johnson had publicly criticized unnamed male co-stars for their unprofessional conduct, leading to speculation that he was referring to Diesel.
Diesel initially dismissed the claims, stating that they were "close." However, Johnson took a break from the franchise in 2021, stating that he only agreed to return for "The Fate of the Furious" on the condition that he did not share scenes with Diesel.
As the "Fast and Furious" franchise is preparing for a new movie which could be the conclusion of the saga, Diesel makes it clear that any past differences between the actors have been resolved. The Golden Globes producers have confirmed that Diesel's shoutout to Johnson was unplanned, adding to the significance of the moment.
