AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber has seemingly confirmed rift with his longtime manager. The singer is no longer following Scooter Braun on Instagram, marking a significant shift in a relationship that spans over a decade.

Discovering Bieber back in 2008 on YouTube, Braun had been managing the pop star since he was just 13. However, their relationship experienced turbulence over the years, with reports in 2023 indicating Bieber was "actively looking at how he might extract himself" from Braun's management, according to Billboard.

Despite their rocky relationship, Bieber was still under contract with Braun for an additional four years as of August 2023, following several amendments to their deal made in 2020. Sources described Bieber's focus at the time as resolving his complex predicament with Braun.

By June 2024, Braun announced his retirement from management although he continues in his role as CEO of HYBE America, a North American branch of the South Korean entertainment company HYBE.

This announcement followed a series of high-profile departures from Braun's SB Projects, including artists like Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and J Balvin.

Reflecting on his 23-year career as a music manager, Braun shared his thoughts on Instagram, mentioning, "Justin and Ariana were both young teenagers when I began with them. Justin a 13 year old kid busking in Canada and Ariana a young actress on Nickelodeon."

"To see them both come up to be the legends they are today will forever be one of my greatest honors. As we change our working relationships now, I will continue to root for them with the same passion that I did at each of their humble beginnings."
