According to a new report, the Grammy-winning singer uses her stunning NFL Christmas Game Day halftime show as a self distraction from the shocking rape lawsuit against the Roc Nation founder.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles takes a breather with her NFL gig. According to a new report, the Grammy-winning singer used her stunning NFL Christmas Game Day halftime show as a self distraction from the shocking rape lawsuit against her husband Jay-Z.

An insider told Daily Mail that thanks to the highly-anticipated performance, Beyonce managed to take her mind off her personal life. "One major and wonderful turnout from her performance was that it gave her some time to not worry about anything that Jay is going through with his lawsuit," the source shared.

The informant added that the "Halo" hitmaker "was so consumed with her performance, so concerned with Blue Ivy and so consumed with all the details of the performance that it took away any thoughts of the mess that they will be dealing with as a family over the next few months."

It was also said that Beyonce released "lots of stress" on stage during the halftime show. "She's a professional and she and her crew knew that she was going to kill it, but those nervous jitters are what makes her tick, makes her still want to do it," they said. "She wanted to convince the world that she is the best performer on earth and she thinks that she proved it tenfold."

Beyonce's halftime show came weeks after Jay-Z was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in an amanded lawsuit against fellow rapper Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. In the filing, the accuser claimed that Hov raped her back in 2000 at Diddy's party while the latter and "Celebrity B" watched.

In response to the accusation, Jay-Z immediately denied the claims as he called the lawsuit "heinous" and accused the lawyer and the alleged victim of "blackmail attempt." The Roc Nation founder said in a statement, "My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a 'lawyer' named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make we want to settle."

He continued, "No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!" He added, "These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case."

He concluded, "I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age. It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit."
