The popular Hallmark Channel series will now premiere its season 3 on the cable network on January 3, 2025 following fan outcry over its previously announced move to the streamer Hallmark+.

AceShowbiz - In response to fan backlash, Hallmark executives have reversed their decision to move season 3 of "The Way Home" from the linear cable network to Hallmark+ for its upcoming third season. Instead, the show will premiere on Hallmark Channel on January 3 and will be available on Hallmark+ the following day.
The decision to move "The Way Home" to the streaming service had sparked frustration among fans, who expressed reluctance to pay extra to continue watching. Hallmark, which hoped to boost subscriptions for Hallmark+ with the move, has since acknowledged the concerns of its viewers.
The show follows Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), a teenager who discovers her ability to time travel and encounters younger versions of her mother Kat (Chyler Leigh) and grandmother Del (Andie MacDowell). New cast members include Julia Tomasone and Jordan Doww, who will portray the teen versions of Del and Colton.
"The Way Home," which is produced by Neshama Entertainment in association with MarVista Entertainment, is the No. 1 most-watched program on entertainment cable among homes, viewers, and women and persons 18+. The series is produced by John Calvert, with Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, Fernando Szew, Hannah Pillemer, and others serving as executive producers.
