In a series of candid moments on her new reality show, Christina Haack sheds light on her tumultuous marriage with ex-husband Josh Hall, offering an unfiltered look into the struggles she faced and the impact on her family.

AceShowbiz - HGTV star Christina Haack, known for her hit series "Flip or Flop," is back in the spotlight with another real estate venture, but this time, it's accompanied by personal revelations that have left fans stunned. In a first look at her new show "The Flip Off," which premieres on January 29, Christina sits down with her first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, to discuss the heartbreaking details of her third divorce.

During a visit to Christina's Newport Beach home, Tarek finds her visibly distressed. In the clip, he hesitantly asks, "You good?" Christina's response sets the tone for an emotional conversation. "No... Josh and I officially split up," she admits, wiping away tears.

Josh, who filed for divorce in July 2024 after nearly three years of marriage, had originally been set to co-star with Christina in the show. However, due to their contentious split, Christina resumed filming solo.

In a tearful confession, Christina recalls a particularly volatile argument with Josh. "We had a blow up... middle fingers in my face," she shares. "Things with Josh have been bad for a long time." Her children, Taylor and Brayden, whom she shares with Tarek, also played a crucial role in her decision to leave. "The kids literally asked me to leave," she says. "Why would I stick around?"

Christina's past marriage to Tarek was an emotional one as well. The couple ended their seven-year marriage in 2016 following a dramatic incident involving a gun and Tarek's subsequent rehab for addiction.

Despite a rocky path, the exes have managed to become amicable co-parents over the years. Tarek also took responsibility for the downfall of their marriage, saying, "I understand that feeling of being a little bit lost. And I acknowledge that I'm a big part, if not the entire part, of all of this."

While Christina has hinted at the challenges she faced with Josh in interviews, the show offers a raw look at her struggles. "When someone is insecure by you and doesn't like to watch you win, that really puts a damper on everything," she told Entertainment Tonight. "I feel like I was not shining as bright, to try to not make him feel emasculated. But who wants to live like that?"

"The Flip Off," featuring both Christina and Tarek in a competitive house-flipping showdown, promises high-stakes drama and emotional revelations. The premiere on January 29 marks the first time the duo will appear together on-screen since "Flip or Flop" ended in March 2022. As the show unfolds, fans will watch as Christina, Tarek, and his new wife Heather Rae Young navigate both their professional competition and personal histories.
