AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has finally found the one for her. The singer/actress and her boyfriend Benny Blanco are ready to walk down the aisle after dating for over a year now, announcing their engagement on Wednesday, December 11.
The former Disney darling made use of her Instagram account to share the good news. Not being able to hide her joy, the 32-year-old flashed a radiant smile in several photos while giving a look at her engagement ring.
The "Only Murders in the Building" actress was photographed alone during what looks like a picnic in one of the snaps. She was sitting on a picnic blanket and looking adoringly at her ring in the said photo.
Another picture featured her smiling brightly at the camera while half-covering her mouth with her hand, which was adorned with the new sparkler. She was also photographed with her boyfriend in a third shot, as the 36-year-old musician hugged her and planted a kiss on her head.
Selena also gave a close-up look at her engagement ring in another image. "forever begins now.., " she captioned the photos. Benny can wait to make their union official as he commented, "hey wait… that's my wife. "
The comments section was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages from her followers. One of them was Lil Nas X who gushed, "OMMGGGGG CONGRATSSS AHHH." Mariska Hargitay exclaimed, "congratulations, " which was echoed by TV personality Padma Lakshmi.

Selena confirmed her relationship with Benny in December 2023, revealing that they have been dating for six months at the time. Prior to the engagement announcement, rumors swirled in August of this year that Benny might have popped the question to the Golden Globe-nominated actress after she hid her left ring finger in a selfie.
