Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield recently reunited and expressed remorse for their 2017 Golden Globes kiss that stole the spotlight from Ryan Gosling, who won best actor.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield recently reunited for the first time since their viral Golden Globes kiss in 2017. The incident occurred when Reynolds lost the Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical trophy to Ryan Gosling's "La La Land".
"And of course, Gosling absolutely did not deserve it," Reynolds quipped on Variety's "Actors on Actors." Despite Reynolds' playful admission of Gosling's worthiness, Garfield admitted feeling insensitive towards Gosling's moment.
"I also, retrospectively, felt a little bit insensitive toward Ryan's moment," Garfield confessed. "I did too," Reynolds agreed, but noted that the wide camera angle prevented immediate attention.
The prank was initiated by Garfield, who suggested Reynolds kiss him instead of his wife, Blake Lively. While Reynolds and Garfield found humor in their stunt, they later apologized to Gosling. "I was able to apologize to Ryan about that, thankfully," said Garfield, while Reynolds joked about egging Gosling's house.
Garfield acknowledged Reynolds' willingness to participate in the kiss and praised his dedication. "You do something that only you can do, and that's a beautiful thing to watch in action," he said.
Despite no nominations for Garfield's "We Live in Time" at the 2017 Golden Globes, Reynolds' Marvel movie earned recognition for its cinematic and box office success. The pair also discussed their upcoming projects, including Reynolds' "Animal Friends" and "Mayday", and Garfield's "The Magic Faraway Tree", "Voyagers" and "After the Hunt".
While recognizing the amusement their kiss brought, Reynolds and Garfield expressed a sense of regret for inadvertently overshadowing Gosling's victory. Gosling, however, has shown support for the pair, stating that he is "happy" they found each other.
