In a recent podcast interview, 'Shazam!' star Zachary Levi talked about the repercussions he was originally worried about when he first declared his vocal support for Donald Trump.

AceShowbiz - "Shazam!" star Zachary Levi addresses the impact of his vocal support for former President Donald Trump and controversial opinions on his career. The actor refuted the notion that he has been "canceled" despite his outspoken political views.
During an appearance on Bill Maher's "Club Random" podcast, Maher asked whether Levi's Hollywood career has been negatively impacted by his Trump endorsement. When Levi first publicly supported Trump, he deemed his decision as a career suicide, but now he has insisted that he has not lost any jobs or faced opposition from producers or studios.
"I have yet to see what the ultimate effects of all that are gonna be," Levi admitted. "I already had multiple jobs that I was in the process of shooting or that I have yet to shoot, and none of those have been compromised."
Levi has previously generated controversy for his criticism of the SAG-AFTRA strike, his comments on the Covid-19 vaccine, and his politicized response to the death of Broadway performer Gavin Creel.
Tony Award-winning actor Norbert Leo Butz and Laura Benanti, who worked with Levi on Broadway, have criticized his use of Creel's death to promote an anti-vax agenda and his unpleasant behavior during that production.
"I never liked him," Benanti stated on "That's a Gay Ass Podcast." "Everyone was like, 'He's so great!' And I was like, 'No, he's not. He's sucking up all the f**king energy in this room. He wants to mansplain everybody's part to them.' "
She went on to criticize Levi for using the death of "She Loves Me" actor Gavin Creel for his political agenda. "To use his memory for his political agenda and to watch him try to make himself cry until he had one single tear, which he did not wipe away, I was like, 'F**k you forever,' " she said.
Despite these controversies, Levi maintains that his career has not been significantly affected. "If it happens, it happens," he said of potential cancellation. "How it ultimately plays out in the future? I don't know."
Levi has been a longtime supporter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and endorsed Trump during this year's election after RFK Jr. quit his Presidential bid.
