AceShowbiz - Will Smith, 56, shared a video on Instagram during an NFL game, highlighting the divide within his family as the two NFL teams faced off on Sunday, December 1 (the Eagles won 24-19). "This is a sensitive situation for our family," Smith joked as loved ones laughed in the background.
The actor panned the camera to show the room, with half cheering for the Eagles, representing Smith's hometown of Philadelphia. However, his mother-in-law Adrienne Banfield-Norris raised her hand in support of the Ravens.
"On game day, it's FLY EAGLES FLY in this household. Philly vs Bmore today!!" Smith captioned the video.
The official Philadelphia Eagles TikTok account showed love for Smith's video, saying, "The Fresh Prince has spoken."
Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith was raised in Baltimore, Maryland. The couple has been married since 1997 despite revealing they separated in 2016. Jada was not seen in Smith's game-day video but shared a post about enjoying a self-care bath the same day.
On Thanksgiving, November 28, the Smith family enjoyed a celebration with over 60 people in attendance, including their children Jaden Smith, Willow Smith and Trey Smith. The celebration continued into the weekend with the football game.
