AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj has found a good way to respond to a social media user's question. The "Moment 4 Life" hitmaker hit back at the user who asked if the female hip-hop artist was high during a livestream.
On Monday, November 25, the famous raptress entertained her fans, famously known as Barbz, by going on a livestream. During an Instagram Live, she was reading questions that were written by her viewers in the comments section.
Nicki said, "Am I high again?" before trying to pronounce the commenter's name. She went on to stress, "Yes, I'm high. I'm the highest streamed female rapper on Spotify. If that's what you meant by high again."
Nicki continued, "Before you got blocked and cursed," before bursting into laughter. She further stated, "I'm not high right now. What's wrong with you? What are you talking about?" before laughing again.
During the livestream, Nicki also invited Cleotrapa to have a conversation. At one point, the "Barbie World" hitmaker shared advice on navigating the music industry and words of wisdom with the 26-year-old artist.
Nicki reminded Cleotrapa that it is "natural" and "normal" to not have #1 song right after starting a music career. She explained, "As long as you feel that you beats are top knots, then you are a good artist. ... People don't come in the first day knowing how to make a hit song necessarily or knowing what a beat needs."
"It's not bad or abnormal that you are at that place, you know what I'm saying? Because those are natural growing pains of becoming a writer or a rapper or a musician or being in the music business. So you just gotta keep at it," she continued.
Nicki further congratulated Cleotrapa, "But, congratulations I would say to you for having your own brand at such a young age and having a true sense of self." She added, "No matter what you think you don't have, a lot of people see what you do have."
