AceShowbiz - "Moana" star Auli'i Cravalho recently appeared on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" alongside "Wicked" star Bowen Yang, where she recounted a memorable meeting with her co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The conversation began when Clarkson asked Cravalho about something her mother had said about Johnson during their first meeting.
Cravalho recalled the encounter, saying that Johnson had been extremely warm and charming, bringing flowers and giving her a hug. However, the perfect moment was shattered when her mother blurted out, "Ah, I could just go Rock climbing!" Cravalho was stunned, while Johnson looked on in amusement.
The audience erupted in laughter, and Clarkson couldn't contain her excitement. Cravalho admitted that she didn't fully understand her mother's comment at the time, but as she has gotten older, it has become hilariously worse. Yang joked, "And then she was like, 'Can he smell what I'm cooking?'" referencing Johnson's iconic wrestling catchphrase.
Cravalho confirmed that Johnson had heard her mother's comment firsthand, adding that the awkwardness made her cringe. Despite the embarrassment, Clarkson praised Cravalho's mother, saying, "Oh my God, I love your mom so much."
