Emma Heming Willis shares a throwback video of Bruce Willis carrying their daughter Evelyn, while she discusses the family's journey with frontotemporal dementia.

AceShowbiz - In a heartwarming video shared by Emma Heming Willis, Bruce Willis carries their youngest daughter, Evelyn Penn Willis, on his shoulders while strolling through Manhattan. The vintage clip, filmed around 2019, shows Bruce playfully warning Evelyn, "I don't have to chew on your leg!" before Willis was diagnosed with aphasia and later frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

Emma, Bruce's second wife, shared the video on Instagram, captioning it, "The best seat in the house." Bruce's daughters with Demi Moore, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis, commented with support. The couple also shares two other daughters, Mabel Ray Willis and Evelyn.

Emma has been open about the family's journey with FTD, revealing that she tells their children about their father's condition when they ask questions. "They've grown up with Bruce declining over the years. I'm not trying to shield them from it," she said.

Despite the challenges, Emma expressed gratitude for the support of their blended family, including Bruce's ex-wife Demi Moore. "They're very supportive, very loving, and very helpful," she said.

Emma and ghostwriter Michele Levy Bender are also working on a book to support caregivers of loved ones with FTD, due for release in 2025. "It's the book that I wish I had been handed when we got the FTD diagnosis," said Emma.

Bruce Willis, known for his iconic roles in films like "Die Hard," retired from acting in 2022 due to FTD. His final performance was in the 2023 body-hopping thriller "Assassin."
