AceShowbiz - Jenn Tran has expressed gratitude for the support and guidance she received from her "Dancing with the Stars" partner, Sasha Farber, particularly during a challenging time in her personal life.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Tran, 26, revealed that Farber, 39, has been a constant source of support since her elimination from the show in seventh place. She emphasized the void she feels with the absence of their daily dance practices.

However, Farber's influence extended beyond the dance floor. According to Tran, he helped her stay grounded and focused on what "really matters" amidst the online scrutiny and controversy she faced after her elimination.

"He kept reminding me that it's the stuff that's not online that really matters," Tran said. "It's your friends and family who know you the best that really matters."

During the emotional upheaval following her breakup with Bachelorette finalist Devin Strader, Farber helped Tran navigate the turmoil by emphasizing the importance of surrounding herself with supportive loved ones.

"Right after the breakup, I was going through a lot of stuff being said online and stuff being spilled out, and I had to just turn my phone off," Tran recalled. "Sasha really helped ground me and tell me that it's my friends and family who really matter at the end of the day."

In addition to providing emotional support, Farber also helped Tran improve her dance skills by instilling a greater attention to detail in her technique.

"I'm someone who's not detail oriented at all. I'm very much like — I do whatever, I'm on my own timeline," Tran said. "And I think you have to be, with music and choreography and you're counting music and all this stuff. So he really just helped me be a little bit more detail oriented."

Despite the sudden end to her Bachelorette journey and their DWTS run, Tran expressed a positive outlook and a desire to continue dancing. She also hinted at a possible reappearance on the show's finale with Farber.

Meanwhile, Jenn's ex Devin Strader previously sparked controversy with recent comments regarding Farber. After a user on Instagram suggested that Tran had "found a great guy" in Farber, Strader responded with a derogatory remark. He also referred to Farber as "literally half the man" he is.

Despite these comments, Tran maintains her support for Strader, stating that she wishes him the best.

"Although this love story didn't end the way I had hoped ... What you guys have seen is a snippet of our love story and two real people navigating a complicated situation," Tran wrote.
