Born Ibrahim Dodo in East Atlanta, Hunxho faced instability and poverty growing up. He turned to rapping as an outlet at a young age, using the stage name "Young Slime." After a series of school expulsions, he found basketball briefly as a distraction before returning to music.

A meeting with Saad, CEO of 1865 Management, proved to be a turning point. Hunxho spent countless hours at 700 Studios, honing his raw, melodic storytelling style. A remix of his hit "Let's Get It" by 21 Savage and a record deal with 300 Entertainment in 2022 further propelled his career.

Hunxho's sophomore album, "Thank God", is a retrospective of his life and career. It features introspective lyrics about gratitude, redemption, and the importance of faith. Collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, Polo G and Lil Durk showcase his versatility as an artist.

Despite his success, Hunxho remains grounded. He recognizes the sacrifices his father made to raise him. His two children, Xhosen and Xho, now provide him with added motivation to stay focused. Hunxho is determined to keep pushing forward, believing that the journey is far from over. "I feel like I gotta go harder," he says. "This album won't last forever."
