AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles has expressed her admiration towards Willie Nelson. After posing with the fellow artist at a Kamala Harris rally, the "Texas Hold 'Em" hitmaker showered the "It's All Going to Pot" singer with praise.
On Monday night, October 28, the 43-year-old superstar made use of her Instagram page to share with the world what she likes about Willie. In the caption of her new post, she gushed, "The Great Willie! You are the coolest! I admire you, and I sincerely thank you for being the pioneer you are."
Queen Bey went on to voice her appreciation for Willie, "Thanks for your impactful music, your advocacy, and the gracious way you appreciate and celebrate other artists! You are 1 of 1." She added, "You were so kind to me and the girls of Destiny's Child when we fanned out meeting you years ago," making a reference to her former girl group.
The "Break My Soul" hitmaker further shared, "And you greeted me with the same kindness 20 years later!" Concluding her message, she exclaimed, "You are one of our national treasures. Sending my love to you."
In the same post, Bey offered social media users a glimpse of her meet-up with Willie. She treated her followers to a series of pictures from Kamala's rally, which took place in Houston on Friday, October 25. The photos saw Bey and Willie striking some poses together when they made an appearance at the political event.
Queen Bey and Willie, who was sporting a red "Willie" bandana, were photographed standing close next to each other. He also placed one of his hands on her waist. Both of them looked in good spirits, flashing their radiant big smiles at the camera. At one point, they were joined by her mother Tina Knowles.
Aside from those, Beyonce also uploaded a slew of her snaps. She was pictured rocking an all-black outfit and a bandana that was similar to that of Willie, seemingly hinted that the 91-year-old singer/songwriter gave her the headpiece. She could not hide her excitement as she beamed with happiness when posing in the bandana.
