"Liam was really, really supportive when Tom fell ill," Kelsey said. "When Tom got sick, it really resonated with Liam and he reached out. He actually performed at a benefit show for Tom. And when Tom passed, Liam came to Tom's funeral."

Kelsey described Payne as "a good soul" who didn't hesitate to provide both Tom and herself with emotional support. "He felt that he needed to be there," she said. "He always used to reach out to me. He'd be like, 'Kels, I can see that you're doing so well.' He always checked in."
