AceShowbiz - Kody Brown, the former polygamist from TLC's "Sister Wives", has opened up about his relationships with his first three wives, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Christine Brown. During the latest episode of the show, Kody admitted that he had been in "terrible relationships" but was unwilling to leave them.
According to Kody, he didn't recognize that his relationships were unhealthy until he experienced a "normal relationship" with his fourth wife, Robyn Brown. He explained that "normal relationships" involve deep emotional intimacy rather than constant conflicts.
Kody used the term "F&F" to describe his past relationships, which stands for "fight and f**k." He stated that such relationships do not create true intimacy but only lead to temporary pleasure.
Kody also pointed out that his relationship with Meri was the most troubled. He claimed that he should have ended their marriage 25 years earlier. Despite his willingness to stay, Kody said that he was wrong to fake emotions and endure a broken relationship.
While Kody acknowledged his role in the marital issues, he also blamed his ex-wives for choosing to leave him. He insisted that he didn't want any more enemies or losses and hoped to maintain a friendly relationship with Meri.
However, tensions escalated during a visit with Meri when Kody expressed his disapproval of the church's use of the term "abandonment" to describe the end of their marriage. Meri countered that Kody was aware of her intentions and could have supported her during the process.
Kody's comments sparked controversy and raised questions about his own responsibility in the failure of his marriages. While he admitted to his shortcomings, his tendency to blame others raised concerns about his accountability.
