In the latest episode of TLC's 'Sister Wives', Meri Brown's decision to legally divorce Kody Brown becomes a focus, with allegations of favoritism and planted ideas.

AceShowbiz - Robyn Brown's dream of having a large, polygamous family initially did not include a legal marriage to Kody Brown. However, Meri Brown, Kody's ex-wife, agreed to divorce him in 2014 so that he could legally marry Robyn and adopt her children from her previous marriage.

During the new "Sister Wives" episode, Meri expressed that she initiated the divorce, but she and Kody discussed it together. She also acknowledged that the emotional impact of the divorce was greater than she had anticipated.

Janelle Brown suspected that Meri's decision to divorce was not entirely her own, but rather influenced by favoritism from Kody towards Robyn. Christine Brown claimed that Robyn had previously mentioned the possibility of the first wife divorcing the husband for the second wife to marry and adopt their children.

Robyn vehemently denied these allegations, stating that she never suggested such an idea and that Meri came up with it on her own. She also noted that she was grateful to avoid a legal marriage due to the trauma she had experienced in her previous divorce.

Regarding Kody's financial decisions, Janelle expressed concerns about his prioritization of expenses, including assets for Robyn and Kody's home while neglecting her needs. Robyn, however, maintained that she was careful with her finances after her first divorce.

Meri later claimed that Kody's distancing himself from their marriage began with the legal divorce and her purchase of a bed and breakfast in Utah. She believed it was his way of escaping their relationship.

Kody's relationships with Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn have seen significant ups and downs, ultimately leading to the departure of almost all his wives.
