AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Nico Tortorella and Bethany Meyers. The actor portraying Josh on "Younger" and the fitness entrepreneur have welcomed their second child, a baby boy, together.
On Friday, October 18, the 36-year-old actor, who already has daughter Kilmer with Bethany, offered social media users a glimpse of his quality time with his newborn son. Making use of his Instagram page, he treated his followers to a photo featuring himself and the bundle of joy.
In the picture, it could be seen that Nico was cradling his baby. He was photographed sweetly planting a kiss on the newborn's head while looking at the camera. However, the infant's face was not featured in the snap. Over the photo, he wrote, "Welcome to the world, Pesce Pearl Meyers Tortorella."
Along with the adorable picture, Nico penned in the caption of the post, "Welcome to the world Pesce Pearl. my son. my little fish. 10.10. ten outta ten. tens across the board. a dove and a fish. and God said, 'let the waters teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.' so God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems, and every winged bird according to its kind."
Before sharing the snap, Nico's wife Bethany shared her experience in giving birth to Pesce Pearl. In a first-person essay, which was published by PEOPLE earlier that day, she recalled, "The moment I realized I was in labor in the middle of Hurricane Milton, I was lying in the bed of the hotel room we had evacuated to for the night."
The 38-year-old CEO of be.come further recounted, "My first reaction was denial, then dread, quickly followed by surrender. The home birth I had imagined had taken a different turn, but just like pregnancy, parenthood and babies, nothing is predictable."
"And we are never in control the way we think we are," Bethany continued. "However, just as divine timing tends to know better than us, labor stalled, storms cleared and we made it back home to welcome our 10/10 hurricane baby: Pesce Pearl Meyers Tortorella!"
