AceShowbiz - A year after welcoming their daughter, Nico Tortorella and Bethany Meyers are excited to expand their family. On Tuesday, April 23, they announced on Instagram that they are expecting their second child.

Tortorella shared how the move to Florida marked a period of transition and new beginnings for them, "Really, it's true. It's funny how, when you commit to dreams and embrace changes, miracles unfold."

In their new home, they sought more than just a change of scenery. They envisioned a life where they could "grow food year-round, where we can run barefoot, chase lizards, play in the ocean, and literally stop to smell the flowers." It's in this idyllic setting that they conceived their second child.

Meyers also took to Instagram to share the news and express their gratitude. She noted that their baby is due in October and acknowledged their own struggles with fertility. "It took years to conceive our first, and this baby made its way into our lives as soon as we touched down at the ocean, which still feels completely surreal."

Despite their joy, the couple extended empathy to those facing pregnancy-related challenges. "It's not lost on me that some people reading this are still hoping for their first while I announce my second," Meyers shared.

"I want to acknowledge that when you've experienced pregnancy loss or have struggled to conceive, pregnancy announcements always feel bittersweet, sometimes even your own," Meyers wrote. "There are never any words that make it better, so I won't try to offer them. I will just let you know that you are seen and your sorrow is held, even in my joy."
