AceShowbiz - GloRilla has spoken up on her relationship status after she sparked dating rumors with Damian Lillard. Social media users have linked the raptress to the NBA star after she shot her shot with him, but he recently claimed that there's "nothing going on" between the two of them.
Sitting down with Charlamagne Tha God for "The Breakfast Club", GloRilla was asked about Damian's take on their situation. "Yeah," she agreed to the athlete's statement. "Just that?" the radio host asked for confirmation, to which she affirmed, "Yeah."
When pressed if she and Damian ever talked since she expressed interest in him, the "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" raptress refused of answer, saying, "Issa lotta n***as inda world- you keep askin' bout one, you gon f**k me up."
GloRilla had her eyes on Damian after they met at NBA All-Star Weekend in February. After taking a photo together, she let her feelings be known with a couple of since-deleted tweets expressing her interest in Damian. "Who n***a dis is? Cause I want him #GetEmGlo," she wrote before adding, "Whoever she is can't whoop me so I really dgaf."
Damian, who is newly single after he and wife Kay'la Lillard were officially divorced earlier this year, was asked about his relationship with GloRilla during Milwaukee Bucks' media day in late September. "I'm weak. That is hilarious. Nah, I keep my personal life personal, you know?" he said, seemingly being caught of guard with the question.
He added, "And I let it be that. I respect her as an artist. We know each other, she's an artist, I'm an artist. But as far as anything else, it ain't nothing going on. That's what I can tell you."
In the same interview with Charlamagne, Glo addressed speculation that she might have a child after she released a new song titled "RAIN DOWN ON ME". "Watch over my family, Lord, and watch over all of my partners/ And even though he hate me, Lord, watch over my baby father," she raps on the song featuring Kirk Franklin, Maverick City Music, Kierra Sheard and Chandler Moore.
In the interview, Glo said she would like to have kids, but instead of physically giving birth, she would much rather have a surrogate mother. She explained her decision was inspired by her friends' experience of carrying kids, which came across as "restricted" in her eyes. When Charlamagne interjected, "It's just nine months," she replied, "That's too long."
