AceShowbiz - After celebrating his milestone 21st birthday, Landon Barker found himself inadvertently connected to a scandalous event: a P. Diddy-themed party. A close source insisted it was a misunderstanding, which quickly escalated in the media.
Landon, the son of Travis Barker, initially enjoyed an intimate dinner with his father and stepmother, Kourtney Kardashian, at Nobu in Malibu, Calif. After the family dinner, Barker and his friends headed to Harriet's Rooftop Lounge, an upscale venue in the same area.
However, the insider claimed Landon and his group was unaware that Harriet's Rooftop was concurrently hosting a party for another individual, which featured a theme centered around Bad Boy Records founder Sean "Diddy" Combs.
This event was particularly controversial due to its baby oil-themed bottle service, referencing allegations against Combs involving law enforcement seizing over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant from his residences during recent raids.
A source close to Landon clarifies, "He, nor ownership, had any knowledge of the theme of the party, nor was he aware that the servers would be presenting bottles of baby oil that night for someone else. He did not participate in the baby oil service and refused to engage."
Compounding the issue, a video circulated online showing a DJ at the event saying, "We're getting really freaky tonight. We're getting Diddy freaky tonight," referencing the alleged coercive "freak offs" that have marred Combs' reputation.
This disturbing event took place amid the serious charges against Sean "Diddy" Combs, who was recently indicted for alleged sex crimes, including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs has pleaded not guilty and currently awaits trial, set for May 5, 2025, at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
For Landon Barker, this was allegedly all an unfortunate mix-up that could have been easily avoided with better awareness of the night's events. Both Landon and Harriet's Rooftop Lounge have not issued further comments, and many await more clarifications.
