AceShowbiz - Amy Poehler has found a new love interest in Joel Lovell, former executive editor of Pineapple Street Studios and ex-deputy editor of The New York Times Magazine. According to People magazine, the 53-year-old Parks & Recreation alum has been "enjoying spending time" with the New York-based podcaster since earlier this summer.

Their paths may have crossed through their mutual connection to Audacy, the Philadelphia-based broadcasting company that owns Pineapple Street Studios. Audacy also released Poehler's 2023 comedy podcast, "Say More with Dr. Sheila".

Lovell, who previously worked on hit podcasts such as "Missing Richard Simmons" and "Serial", is a father of three daughters: Addie, 23; Tess, 21; and Julia, 17. Notably, Tessie, now a Cornell University student, once coincidentally dressed up as Poehler's Inside Out character, Joy, for Halloween in 2015.

Poehler has had a diverse career, including starring in films such as "Blades of "Glory, voicing Joy in the "Inside Out" franchise, and hosting "Saturday Night Live". She shares two teenage sons, Archie and Abel, with her ex-husband, actor Will Arnett.

On October 10, Poehler will be honored with the Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award by the late comedian's children at the Revels & Revelations fundraiser. She will also receive the Variety Legend & Groundbreaker Award from the Newport Beach Film Festival on October 20.
