'The Color Purple' actress is nearly unrecognizable as she showcases her long platinum blonde tresses while striking some poses in a vibrant long wrap dress.

AceShowbiz - Taraji P. Henson looked different as she ditched her iconic dark-colored hair. The actress portraying Loretha "Cookie" Lyon on "Empire" was barely recognizable with blonde tresses in her new magazine photos.

Recently, the 54-year-old actress struck some poses during a photo session with Glamour magazine. In a series of pictures from the photoshoot that were published on Thursday, October 3, it could be seen that she was standing up in front of a house.

At one point, Taraji placed both of her hands on her stomach. She showed a stern facial expression while looking at the camera. Another photo, in the meantime, saw her moving the lower part of her dress with her hand as she tilted her head to the back.

For the particular poses, Taraji opted to wear an orange wrap dress that was long enough to trail down as she walked. While the gown came with no sleeves, it featured a low-cut design, allowing its wearer to expose her cleavage.

To add a color variation to the vibrant look, "The Color Purple" actress put on a pair of open-toe black high heels. She accessorized herself with a pair of earrings and some rings. In addition, her long platinum blonde hair cascaded down her back.

Still flaunting the same hairstyle, Taraji posed with nature behind her. While closing both of her eyes, she put her hands up in the air. This time, she showed off her long legs in a colorful mini dress that had two long sleeves and a high neck design. Her locks were styled in loose waves and parted in the middle. Furthermore, she had bold makeup on including a black lipstick.

In her Glamour cover story, Taraji discussed her nonprofit work to advocate "for mental health within the black community." She shared, "I don't think we're here to just benefit ourselves. I think humans have been put on this planet to benefit each other, and to be here for each other."
