AceShowbiz - Taraji P. Henson's fans are in shambles following Russell Simmons' display of friendship with her. Social media users are left confused and disappointed after the actress visited the embattled record executive in Bali.
On Monday, August 12, the Def Jam Recordings co-founder proudly flaunted his friendship with the Hollywood star. He made use of his Instagram page to share a photo of the two lounging on a couch together and flashing a smile to the camera.
In the caption, the entrepreneur reflected on feeling "blessed" to have such good friends in his life. "People when u have friends like this, you are truly blessed!!!!" he wrote. "Everyone comes to Gdas for healing, some people exude healing energy."
He went on raving about the "Empire" alum, "You are one of those You make everyone happy just with your presence love you baby girl you are back home safe now and already you are missed until we meet again darling only love." He added, "ps you mean so much to so many people keep inspiring us all !!!"
Some people mistook the tone of the post, which made it sound like an RIP post. "Lord the post looks like she died I was like OMG," a shocked fan reacted. Another explained, "I think the 'until we meet again' through people off. People usually say that when someone passes. But no she is very much alive. She visited and left so I get the post."
A third begged to differ as saying, "I definitely didn't think this was a R. I. P post you guys are crazy. You'll got change your thoughts asap."
Others took issue with Taraji sticking by Russell's side despite rape and sexual misconduct allegations against the music mogul. "Taraji is so questionable to me," one wrote. Another remarked, "I know she didn't," while a third critic declared, "She cancelled."
Some others, however, praised Taraji's loyalty to her friend. "All right now that's what I'm talking about friends for life and you always know who's in your corner no matter peace and love," someone commented on the post.

She's supporting her friend like some of you support your family members who are accused of worse.
